there is a Gilmore gas station in the middle of LA, here's why... Gilmore started out with dairy farms in Compton, La Brea, and the Fairfax districts, then discovered oil under it and in 1905 had a oil rig farm

from the era of a one stop gas and service, when you got full service, and they could do anything to a Model T except make more power from it
